Wise words from His Holiness The Dalai Lama

I apologize to everyone because there haven't been very many posts over the last month. I have some new things I'm working on that I think will provide some new, different, and creative ways (including Angels!) to help us focus even more on living life positively. My goal is to begin introducing them in the next week or so. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for sticking with me and keeping the blog in your readers.

In this post I wanted to share a few of my favorite 'tweets' from His Holiness The Dalai Lama along with a couple photographs of purple wildflowers. I don't know how many already have twitter accounts, but for those who don't I think it's worth getting one just to receive The Dalai Lama's tweets. To say they are inspiring, motivational, powerful, positive and meaningful is an understatement.

Time Magazine's interview, "10 questions with The Dalai Lama" (video)

I can't believe it's been over two weeks since I've posted on the blog, it seems as though time has sped up even more lately (at least in my mind :-))! I am working on a few entries which I hope to have up by the end of the day and I thank you for your patience.

Now back the focus of the post, which is the video of Time Magazine's interview with The Dalai Lama. Some of you know I quote him often in my posts, (including in some of my 'thoughts for today' posts) because The Dalai Lama is on the top of my list of incredible people who inspire change for so many reasons. Aside from the fact that he is the spiritual leader of Buddhism and a humanitarian, one of the things that I love about The Dalai Lama is the wonderful positive energy he exudes. So whenever I find new audio or video of him I always try to share it with others.

Quotes, quotes.....everywhere quotes

Quotes, quotes.....everywhere quotes

Over the last few days I've been seeing incredible quotes everywhere and if I've learned nothing else I know that everything happens for a reason. With that in mind, I thought I would pass some of them on to you. Most of them are by people I quote regularly and are fairly common quotes, but a few of them I had never heard before but are awesome in my opinion. I hope you enjoy........
A man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life.
James Allen

The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation.

To Love Life, A truly incredible poem by Ellen Bass

To Love Life
The Thing Is
to love life, to love it even
when you have no stomach for it
and everything you've held dear
crumbles like burnt paper in your hands,
your throat filled with the silt of it.

Heros

My heroes are my family, friends and the people I've who I've been fortunate enough to have had in my life at one time or another. I try never to judge another soul, for what they contribute to the world. The way I look at it, you never know who's life you could change or vice versa, and if we think of that every time we meet someone; the world might be a more positive and trusting place.

My Grandparents, Parents, my brothers, Aunts, Uncles and many more! Heroes to me are people who

ideas to ponder

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought; it is founded on our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts with pure thought, joy will follow him, like a shadow that never leaves him." Buddha

"In this world the greatest courage is to drop the mind aside. The bravest man is who can see the world without the barrier of the mind, just as it is. It is tremendously different, utterly beautiful. There is nobody who is inferior and there is nobody who is superior -- there are no distinctions." Osha
