Repeat phrases like: May I be balanced and at peace. May I be undisturbed by the comings and goings of all the events of the world.
Meditate and visualize yourself on a tropical beach. On each inhale, feel the warmth of the sun and the touch of the breeze. Let your breathing coincide with the rhythm of the waves. Feel tension release from your body during each exhale.
Even non-sounds make great reminders. Turning a light on or off, traffic lights, a smile, the sight of a flower, your cup of coffee ready to drink - each of these can be used as a mindfulness bell to stop, breathe consciously, let go, then open your eyes to the present moment.
For mindfulness, you need non-judging, patience, a beginner's mind, trust, non-striving, acceptance, and letting go.Picture yourself sitting on the bank of a gentle river and, from time to time, see a log come floating down the river. Follow the log, observing it floating past and out of sight.
Do good, even when you are alone.
Walk in beauty, wherever you are.I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
So long as your spirit is right, any and every room can be a place of practice. The way is wherever people discipline themselves through training.
Healing begins with a breath.
Peace, Light and Take Care!
