I think that "Walking", by Henry David Thoreau is a great example of this. Aside from being able to think about nature in a completely different way, I was able to understand what most believed nature's role in our lives was then. It was fascinating to see that even 170 years ago, we as a society, were already removing ourselves from nature and the life sustaining aid that our malnourished souls are now craving so strongly.

The audio book is in two parts with each one being about 90 minutes or so. I am posting them both at the same time just in two different posts.
Click here for part two of "Walking". They both can be listened to and downloaded from my site for one month, so tell your friends!
I sincerely hope you find this as fascinating as I did and I would love to hear what you think about it.
Thank you to LibriVox and all the wonderful volunteers who made this audio book (and many others) possible!
Peace, Light and Take Care!
(due to limited space on the mp3 server, I can only keep each audio active/available on my blog for a month so this will be available until July 5,2010. But they are always available on the site listed above. Thank you so much for your understanding and if you have any questions or problems please leave me a comment or email me and I will do my best to help in anyway I can!)
